What if there is difference in colour between two strips ?
When hanging, there may be a slight difference in colour between strips of wallpaper. This difference results from an unequal pressure being applied to the wallpaper in the printing cylinder during manufacturing. The “Left/Right” phenomenon may be observed. This mostly occurs with plain wallpaper under a bright light

“Left/Right” appearance



Solution:
Hang every other strip upside down (alternate). The “Left/Right” appearance becomes more spaced out and therefore less visible.

This solution can be used for plain paper or patterns which can be alternated
